311 919 201, Volkswagen Type 3, 6 Volt Clock. 5/66 MFG dated stamp. Vintage OE

TESTED WITH 6 VOLTS AND DOES NOT APPEAR TO OPERATE.  Being sold as a parts clock or to be fixed.  It might actually work but do not have a constant 6v DC supply.  Tried with lining up 1.5v household batteries but did not work with that alkaline setup.  Anyways it’s a nice condition VW Type 3, 6 volt clock.  311 919 201.  5/66 mfg. stamped on casting.  Chrome ring has pitting.  Plastic/glass very nice but appears to have a slight crack at bottom where it says VDO.  Outside of these 2 details assembly looks fantastic.  Will ship with care so you will receive it like pictured.
