The black S90 and SC heads added a certain distinction to the visual impact of a fresh engine. Hard to find these in good condition and uncracked anymore, especially with a fresh rebuild. These heads were often on engines that saw very hard use so cracks next to the spark plug holes and often between the valve seats were not uncommon, but expensive to repair properly.
