Jaeger Speedometer Italian  Italy Gauge Maserati ?

From a large parts collection from a 50+ year old European repair shop. Have no idea of application of this speedo., however it does have  55mph  reading in red, as  was mandatory in the US during the 70’s gas crisis, so likely on a US Market car. Needle  moves, all looks good, but actual condition unknown.  It was not uncommon to remove these marked and limited MPH reading units, and substitute a slightly earlier version with full MPH scale.
