Rare item alert. I purchased all of the car parts from an estate where the owner had three Adenauers that he hoped to restore.  Included in the purchase was a box of chrome pieces.  This is the radiator cap screw that goes on the huge Adenauer grille.  It's in flawless condition.   I have a grille in my collection that has a different type of screw cap (I think a later version, where they tried to save money).  I screwed this on and it fit perfectly. High price reflects rarity, and no, the other ones you see listed as being Adenauer caps are not anything like this.  This is the real deal.
