Newly Rebuilt Starter Casting Number PS 1264 From 1947 Studebaker Truck M16

I had this starter rebuilt and just picked it up yesterday. I have used this shop several times and they have always done high quality work. This starter is off of a 1947 Studebaker truck M16. As shown in the photos, the dust ring/band on the end of the starter has rust damage. The rebuilder did not have access to a replacement, so he put the original back on. It would be a very simple matter to replace it with the one from your old starter, if you have one. I left the old battery cable on it when I took it to the shop. Easier to carry it. Due to the size and weight, shipping cost will be fairly costly. I do not accept returns, nor give refunds on electrical parts. This starter is sold as is.
