1) Why wasn't I able to place a used auto parts request?

2) How does your locating service work?
There are two options for locating parts. First, and foremost, you can search for your salvaged car parts by providing the year, make, model and part you need at the top of the column to the left. When we get this information we'll try to provide you listings from our affiliate salvage yards which will allow you to purchase the salvaged car parts online, immediately.
Our alternative method is to have you place a part request. The information you provide in our part request form is transmitted by email to the salvage yards that subscribe to our service. Our subscribers consist of auto wreckers, junkyards, auto recyclers and other used or rebuilt auto parts suppliers located throughout the United States and Canada.
The subject line of the email that is sent contains the year, make and model of the car you need a part for, as well as a brief description of the part you are looking for. If the salvage yards that subscribe to our service have the used auto parts that you are looking for then they will respond to your request by email and quote you a price.
Your email address is not disclosed to the salvage yard. Responses to used auto parts requests migrate through our servers to ensure your anonymity.
3) When can I expect responses?
Response times can vary from several minutes to several days, depending on when you place the part request and the make and model of the car or truck the part applies to. It is possible that our subscribers won't have the part you are looking for. This is more likely for vintage and exotic vehicles.
